With the AWS Free tier account, we will able eligible to use AWS services free of cost for the next 12 months.

Follow below steps to create AWS Free Tier Account

Step 1: Create an AWS account

Open https://aws.amazon.com/ in the browser then click on the “My Account” in the right corner of the site.
In My Account, click on “AWS Management Console”. It will take you to the next page where you need to click on “Create New AWS account”.

Now we will be on the main page where we register our email address for free AWS account.

Fill below details :

  • Email Address
  • Password
  • Confirm Password
  • Aws account name

And then Click on “Continue

Step 2: Contact Information

Now we need to fill Contact Information. Please make sure you would fill all the genuine information otherwise AWS will not allow you to proceed further.
All fields provided in the Contact form are mandatory.

Choose “Professional” if you’re using AWS for Business use otherwise choose “Personal”.

Step 3: Payment Information

Here, You need to provide your credit/debit card details information.

As we said this is the free account then the question comes in your mind why we need to provide credit/debit details?

Answer for the above question is AWS uses those details for the secure verification process of your account. Once you fill credit/debit card details AWS just charges you RS. 2 from your account to verify your credit/debit details are genuine. And after account creation amazon will refund the amount in 2-3 days in your bank account.

Step 4: Confirm Your Identity

On the identity verification page, it will be asked you to enter your Phone no. once you add your phone no. you will get one PIN No. and immediately get a call from AWS on your phone and asked you to enter the pin no.

After the pin verification, your identity verification process is completed.

If you don’t get a call wait for some time and then again click on option to call me.

After the above step, you will receive verification code via text message or voice call. Use that code to verify the account.

Step 5: Sign Up Completed

Now your account is verified. You will get the account confirmation mail from AWS and you have your own free AWS account for 12 months of period.

Go to the AWS official page and use the same credentials for login.
